2011

Pret A Manger Supplier Awards - Craig Land, Craig Cairncross, Mick McCabe and Glen Lucas 

A number of different individuals were personally recognised at the annual Pret  A Manger supplier conference. Craig Land was awarded "Logistics & Supply Chain Shining Star" in recognition of his dedication as Logistics Co-ordinator. Mike McCabe and Glen Lucas were awarded "Best Crew of the Year" thanks to the positive comments and praise they have received from the shops to which they make deliveries. Craig Cairncross received a "Special Thank You" award for his contribution during his time as Transport Manager.

Call North West Call Centre Awards

Bidvest Logistics were awarded two awards as the prestigious ceremony organised by Call North West, an organisation which actively works with Call Centres in the North West to drive and achieve excellence. Bidvest Logistics received "Best Technology Partnership - Microlise" while Lianne Blackman Morrow, Head of Customer Relations, was personally recognised winning "Contact Centre Manager of the Year". Bidvest Logistics were also shortlisted in the categories of "Call Centre Team of the Year" and "Operator of the Year".

Pizza Hut "Customer Mania" - Mat Eaton & Stuart Gibson

Recognition by Pizza Hut Buying Team for Bidvest buyers' dedication and commitment to delivering excellent product availability to the estate through proactive supplier management, resolution of issues and going the extra mile. 

Greene King "Supplier of the Quarter - Quarter 3"

Awarded by house managers to congratulate Bidvest and their drivers for the service provided during quarter 3, in particular for making it through the snow to deliver to our houses during November and December. 

2010 

Pret A Manger "True Grit Award" - Claire Sage

For successfully executing the client transition from Banbury to Hoddesdon depot during the spring/summer of 2010 and displaying great tenacity and drive in tough trading conditions. 

Pret A Manger "Best Account Manager Award" - Alix Cunningham

For consistently demonstrating innovation and determination in delivering service improvements and supporting the client's goals.

Pizza Hut "Hut Hero Award" - Special Supplier Award

Awarded for the high levels of commitment, above and beyond, in ensuring continuity of supply during the extreme weather conditions over December 2009 and January 2010. When many other organisations were failing to supply to their customers, we continued to deliver going to exceptional levels and ensuring that there was full accurate communication to the Pizza Hut Estate.

KFC "Outstanding Service Award"

For outstanding levels of overall 3663 service during the serious weather of Dec 09 & Jan 10 including the proposal & execution of alternative delivery solutions, levels of daily & issue-specific communication; maintenance of the supply chain enabling maximum store trading; best supplier performance during the adverse weather.

KFC "Driver Performance Award"

Monetary award for every 3663 driver to recognise their willingness to "go the extra mile" & complete their deliveries during the adverse weather of Dec & Jan and the negligible number of failed deliveries.

Greene King "A Pallet of Beer" for service beyond the call of duty

In recognition for the delivery service over the extreme weather conditions in Dec 09 and Jan 10. We enjoyed the award very much!

2009

Pizza Hut "More for Less Award" - Hayley Henson

Individual recognition award to the Bidvest Logistics Business Administration Manager regarding the support she offers to Pizza Hut and the value they get from that person to their business.

KFC "Account Manager of the Year Award" - Chris Stott

For consistently high levels of account management; speed of response; problem resolution; project uptake and reporting across the whole S/C Team.

KFC "Big Catch Award" - Melissa Topham

For repeatedly demonstrating understanding and empathy of the client's business requirements.
