The first part of the selection process begins with your application, whether this is the online form or your CV.
The next stage will be a competency based interview with the recruiting line manager.
For some roles we may ask you to take part in an assessment specifically relating to the role. For example if you’re applying for a Driver position, you’ll spend a few hours on the road with one of our driver assessors.
You may also be asked to complete online assessments, such as verbal and numerical reasoning or a psychometric questionnaire. If this is the case we call you to discuss further.
Offers to join the team will be made over the phone by the Recruitment Team. If you accept we’ll send you full details of the offer, the benefits of working within our team and details about your first day.
If you’re not selected, you’ll be contacted by the Recruitment Team. We’re committed to offering feedback as to the reasons.
Before you meet with us it’s a good idea to find out what we do, who we do it for as well as what is happening in our industry. This website is a great place to start. You could also call up any of our sites to find out more.
We want to learn more about you and what you’ve done in the past. Be yourself, be open and honest and show your personality.
We’re keen to learn about you but we want you to ask us questions too. Ask us things which are important to you. Changing jobs can be challenging and we want to give you the right information to help you with your decision making.
When we invite you for your interview we’ll ask you to bring in proof that you are eligible to work in the UK. If the position you’ve applied for involves driving whether that’s a car, truck or forklift vehicle, we’ll ask you to bring in your licence too. The Recruitment Team will confirm what documents to bring.
